New Castle, DE — 2009-- These two new Foldable Colander Black from RÖSLE combine the strength of stability of stainless steel with the nonstick collapsible properties of silicone. The 8inch diameter and the 10inch diameter colanders are manufactured with metal frames that include handles and bases that allow cooks to safely carry the colanders from counter to sink or sink to pot.

The partial use of silicone offers the useful properties of silicone without the limitations. A colander made of just silicone, for instance, is flimsy and wobbly. The combination of materials has instead created sturdy yet flexible colanders.
